Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
With ABS
CAUTION: Do not allow brake fluid to contact painted surfaces. If it does, rinse with water and wipe off immediately.
REMOVAL
Remove in the order shown in the figure, noting the following:

Disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder with a flare nut wrench.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Tighten the mounting nuts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the brake line flare nuts to 13-22 Nm (9-16 ft. lbs.).

Add brake fluid, bleed brakes and check for fluid leakage.
