6. User Authentication screen will appear. Retrieve the Map Authentication Code via one of the following procedures:
a. From the designated internet website. Click on "Dealer" and type in your dealer code, VIN and Hardware device ID.
OR
b. Call the "Call Center" and ask to get the "Map Authentication Code". You will be asked for the "VIN", "Hardware device ID" and Dealer Code.
NOTICE
Using the website will be quicker and more accurate, and will help avoid delays due to intermittently high-volume phone traffic. DO NOT USE THE
ADDRESS DISPLAYED ON SCREEN.
7. Enter the Authentication code.
8. Navigation system is ready for the upgrade. System will auto-restart, follow on-screen direction.
