Fluid - A/T: Testing and Inspection
AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID (ATF)
CAUTION: Place vehicle on a flat, level surface.
LEVEL INSPECTION
1. Apply parking brake and position wheel chocks securely to prevent vehicle from rolling.
2. Warm-up engine until ATF reaches 140 - 158°F (60 - 70°C).
3. While engine is idling, shift selector lever from P to 1 and back to P.
4. Let engine idle.
5. Shift selector lever to P.
NOTICE: Use COOL 68°F (20°C) range only as a rough reference.
