Sportage 2WD L4-2.0L (1997)
1.
Remove the transmission in accordance with the Sportage Service Manual, Section 41.
2.
Remove the old clutch release bearing from the front cover.
3.
Clean the clutch release bearing contact surfaces on the front cover and release fork.
4.
Apply molybdenum grease onto the clutch release bearing in the areas indicated in the illustration.
5.
Install the clutch release bearing into the release fork and onto the front cover.
6.
Apply a small amount of molybdenum grease to pivot ball and pushrod locations on the release fork.
7.
Re-install the transmission in accordance with the Sportage Service Manual, Section 41.
