Trunk / Liftgate Latch: Service and Repair
REPLACEMENT
TAILGATE LATCH REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the tailgate trim.
2. Disconnect the outside handle rod (A) and actuator rod(B).
3. Loosen the latch mounting bolts and disconnect the connector(A),remove Tailgate latch(B).
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
-
Make sure the tailgate open properly and locks securely.
