Power Door Lock Relay: Testing and Inspection
INSPECTION
1. Remove the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the driver side crash pad lower panel.
3. Remove the ICM relay box (A) after loosening 2 mounting nuts and removing 3 connectors under the junction box(Passenger compartment).
4. Check for continuity between the terminals.
DOOR LOCK
Check for continuity between the terminals.
1. There should be continuity between the No.17 and No.19 terminals when power and ground are connected to the No.17 and No.20 in the M37-1
terminals.
2. There should be no continuity between the No.17 and No.19 terminals when power is disconnected.
DOOR UNLOCK
1. There should be continuity between the No.17 and No.18 terminals when power and ground are connected to the No.17 and No.5 in the M37-1
terminals.
2. There should be no continuity between the No.17 and No.18 terminals when power is disconnected.
