Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Testing and Inspection
Rear Shock Absorber
1. Push the rear of the vehicle in a downward motion several times; listen for any abnormal noise and watch for failure to come to an immediate rest.
2. Inspect for shock absorber damage anchor oil leakage.
3. Road test the vehicle to check effectiveness of the shock absorbers.
4. Remove and replace if damaged or leaking.
