Carefully pull the plastic door liner away from the rear door starting from the rear upper corner of the rear door until the rear door lock assembly is
completely exposed.

Using a suitable flat pry bar, carefully pry the inner door glass weatherstrip away from the door and set it aside.

Notice: 

Excessive pulling on the weatherstrip will cause it to bend which will require weatherstrip replacement.

Vehicles Equipped with Power Door Locks:

Release the clip that retains the power door lock actuator rod to the power door lock actuator, then pry the rod from the retaining clip.

Release the rear door lock knob rod from the black plastic guide clip, then release the clip which retains the door lock knob rod to the door lock
knob crank lever and pry the rod from the clip.
