1. Distance from top center of brake pedal to floor mat should be 8.9-9.1 inches, Fig. 5.
2. Disconnect stop light switch connector.
3. Loosen locknut and turn switch (A) until it does not contact pedal.
4. Loosen locknut (D) and turn rod (C) to adjust pedal height.
5. Adjust pedal freeplay to 0.16-0.28 inch, then torque locknut (D) to 21 ft. lbs.
6. Turn stop light switch until it contacts pedal, then turn additional 1/2 turn and tighten locknut.
