Camshaft Gear/Sprocket: Service and Repair
CAMSHAFT PULLEYS REMOVAL
1. Remove Timing Belt.
2. Remove the camshaft pulley lock bolts.
3. Remove the camshaft pulleys.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the camshaft pulleys as shown in the illustration, making sure that the dowel pins and "I" (intake) and "E" (exhaust) marks are pointing up.
2. Install the camshaft pulley lock bolts and tighten.
Tightening torque: 35-48 ft.lbs. (47-65 Nm)
3. Instal Timing Belt.
