Pressure Feedback Exhaust Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Inspection 

1. Apply vacuum to the EGR differential pressure sensor using a vacuum pump.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. With the EGR differential pressure sensor connector still connected, measure the voltage at EGR differential pressure sensor connector pin 3

(GRY).

6.0 in.Hg (20.3 kPa (152.4 mmHg)) Approx. 3.6V
12.0 in.Hg (40.6 kPa (304.8 mmHg)) Approx. 2.6V
16.0 in.Hg (54.0 kPa (406.4 mmHg)) Approx. 1 .9V
25.0 in.Hg (84.4 kPa (635 mmHg)) Approx. .4V
 

4. It not specified, replace the EGR differential pressure sensor.
