Using the Adjustable Adapter Wrench (SST K95B-0001-U), install the Manual Hub Pre-Load Adjusting Nut. Tighten the nut until contact is made
with the front wheel bearing.

Using the Adjustable Adapter Wrench (SST K95B-0001-U) and a Torque Wrench, adjust Front Wheel Bearing Pre-Load.

A.

Using a Foot Pound Torque Wrench, tighten the Pre-Load Adjusting Nut to 12-15 ft.lb.

Notice: 

Rotate the wheel by hand while tightening the Pre-Load Adjusting Nut.

B.

Loosen the Pre-Load Adjusting Nut.

C.

Using an Inch Pound Torque Wrench, retighten the Pre-Load Adjusting Nut to the specified torque.

Front Wheel Bearing Pre-Load Adjusting Nut Torque: 30 in. lbs.

CAUTION: 

Do NOT exceed the specified torque.

9.

Install the Manual Hub Lock Plate.

Notice: 

The aligning holes in the Lock Plate must align with the threaded holes in the Pre-Load Adjusting Nut. If the holes do not align, remove the
Lock Plate and rotate the Adjusting Nut clockwise (tighter) to the nearest alignment position then reinstall the Lock Plate.
