3. Install the nine exhaust manifold bolts and tighten to specification.
Tightening torque: 31 ft. lbs. (42 Nm)
4. Install a new flange gasket and attach the converter inlet pipe.
5. Install the five nuts on the exhaust flange and tighten to specification.
Tightening torque: 24 ft. lbs. (33 Nm)
6. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield.
7. Install the four heat shield bolts and tighten to specification.
Tightening torque: 18 ft. lbs. (24 Nm)
8, Install the air intake hose and tighten the two clamps.
