Coolant Line/Hose: Service and Repair
BYPASS PIPE ASSEMBLY (LH)
Removal
1. Remove the under cover.
2. Remove the radiator cap.
3. Open the drain cock and drain the coolant into a suitable container.
4. Close drain cock.
5. Remove air inlet hose assembly.
6. Remove upper bolts from intake manifold bracket.
7. Remove one bolt from the bracket at the manifold.
8. Remove wire loom at the rear of the engine from the bracket.
9. Remove one bolt and clip with bracket from the rear of the engine.
10. Disconnect the TPS connector.
11. Disconnect the fuel rail harness connector #1
12. Disconnect the fuel rail harness connector #2.
13. Remove one bolt and the wire loom clamp from the left rear of the engine.
14. Disconnect the two sensor connectors and wire holder.
15. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.
16. Remove the lower manifold heat shield.
17. Raise the vehicle.
18. Remove the header pipe bolts.
19. Remove the header pipe bracket bolt.
20. Remove the bottom bolts from the starter.
