WARNING: DO NOT USE HAND TOOLS SUCH AS TIRE IRONS, HAMMERS AND SCREWDRIVERS TO REMOVE THE TIRE FROM
THE WHEEL THE TOOLS WILL DAMAGE THE ALUMINUM RIM OF THE WHEEL, AND POSSIBLY THE TIRE BEAD. THE DAMAGE
COULD RESULT IN FUTURE TIRE OR WHEEL FAILURE CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE.
1. Install the tire-wheel assembly in a commercial tire changing machine. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for use of the machine.
2. Deflate the tire by pushing in the valve core plunger until nearly all the air is released (as much as reasonably possible).
Caution: Safety glasses or goggles must be worn during the following steps. Pressure within the tire could blow the valve core out at high speed,
causing injury to personnel.
3. Remove the valve core using a commercial valve core removal tool.
4. Lubricate the tire bead area and wheel rim with a commercial rubber lubricant made for this purpose.
If the tire will be installed on the same wheel (or same type wheel), mark the tire sidewall near the air valve. This will allow the tire to be installed
in the same position (relative to the air valve) as before.
5. Follow manufacturer's instructions for operating the tire changing machine. Remove the tire from the wheel.
