Stabilizer Bar: Description and Operation
Front Stabilizer Bar
The front stabilizer bar is used to minimize vehicle front sway during turns. The spring steel bar helps to equalize the vehicle body in relationship to
the suspension. The bar extends across the front underside of the chassis and connects to the frame via pivot links. The links are connected to the
frame crossmember brackets. It is also connected to the lower control arm via drop links. All mounting points of the stabilizer bar are isolated by
rubber bushings.
