Alarm Module: Description and Operation

Electronic Time and Alarm Control Module

The Electronic Time and Alarm Control Module (ETACM) receives input signals from various vehicle components and controls the Theft Deterrent
System, as well as the power door lock function. Inputs to the ETACM include: door jamb switches, hood switch, rear hatch micro switch, front door
lock cylinder contact switches, and key in ignition switch.

The Electronic Time and Alarm Control Module (ETACM) is located in the instrument panel, just above and to the left of the glove box opening. The
ETACM is accessible after the glove box and lower trim panel are removed.
