Defroster Switch

Removal

CAUTION:  When a removing or installing any electrical units, wiring or electrical connectors, disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent
possible short circuits which could lead to personal injury and/or property damage.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the two screws which are at the top of the instrument cluster.
3. Grasp the top of the instrument cluster and pull out from the dash pad.
4. Disconnect the wire harness from the defroster switch.
5. Remove the switch by pressing the spring clips on the side of the switch.

Installation

1. Push switch through instrument panel until plastic clips snap in place.
2. Push on wire harness connector until plastic clip snaps in place.
3. Install instrument cluster into dash and fasten with two screws.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
