3. Prime an area approximately 3/4 inch (19 mm) wide around the perimeter of the glass. The primer should be Essex U401 or equivalent.
4. Prime the contact area on the body. The primer should be Essex U413 or equivalent.
5. Reprime the glass with Essex 402 or equivalent.
6. Install the molding around the perimeter of the glass.
7. Install the weather-stripping in the door.
NOTE: The following cure times may be critical. Attempting to replace a windshield in ambient temperatures over 95 °F (35 °C) should be
avoided because the surface of the sealant may harden before completing the application.
