Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

- Open the boot, remove the cover on the left hand side and disconnect the negative battery lead.

1. Disconnect the cylinder head/crankcase water circuit with closed thermostat hose from the thermostat.

Collect the coolant that comes out in a suitable container.

1. Disconnect the band (1a) and remove the hose (1b) for the cylinder head/crankcase water circuit with closed thermostat.

Refitting

- Position the hose for the cylinder head/crankcase water circuit with closed thermostat and secure it to the connector on the crankcase using the band.

- Connect the cylinder head/crankcase water circuit with closed thermostat hose to the thermostat.

- Connect the negative battery terminal, then close the boot.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
