Reverse Lamps

Fuse 14 of the passenger compartment fuse box (C0580) provides an ignition feed to the reverse lamp switch (C0167) on an LGP then GY wire. The reverse lamp switch is a normally open switch. When reverse gear is selected, the switch contacts close, allowing current to flow from the switch (C0167) to the following: Defender 90 and 110 The LH reverse lamp (C0472 on LHD, C2122 on RHD) on a GN then W wire The trailer socket (C0942) on a GN wire. Defender 130 The LH reverse lamp (C2121) on a GN then W wire. The trailer socket (C0942) on a GN wire.

All are earthed on B wires.
