EXTERIOR LAMPS - Rear Fog Lamps (page 2 of 2)

The rear fog guard lamp ECU (C543-4) is connected to the rear fog guard lamp (C0064-2) on a black/slate wire. When the rear fog guard lamp switch is depressed, it creates a momentary earth path back through the rear fog guard lamp ECU. When the rear fog guard ECU registers this second earth, it supplies a feed (C0543-3) to the following components on red/yellow wires.

• The rear fog guard warning lamp in the instrument pack (C0233-4).
• The RH rear fog guard lamp (C0512-2).
• The LH rear fog guard lamp (C0515-2).
• The trailer pick-up (C0499-2).

All of these are earthed on black wires.
