FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
Service Repair No - 57.65.01
Checking Toe-Out Dimensions
NOTE: No provision is made for camber, castor or swivel pin inclination adjustment.
1. Set vehicle on level ground with road wheels positioned straight ahead.
2. Push vehicle back and forwards to settle linkage.
3. Measure toe-out at horizontal center-line of wheels.
4. Check tightness of clamp bolt fixings.

Tighten to 14Nm.
ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen adjuster sleeve clamp (5,8).
2. Rotate adjuster (6) to lengthen or shorten track rod.
3. Check toe-out setting as instructions in steps 1 to 4 of Checking Toe-out Dimensions above.

When toe-out is correct, tap steering linkage ball joint, in directions of arrows shown (7), to maximum of their travel.

This ensures full unrestricted working travel.
4. Tighten clamp bolts (5,8) to 14 Nm.
