13.

Remove leads, one at a time, from C2054 and replace with the same colored leads from the new harness (figure 4).

NOTE: 

Early production replacement harnesses will have colored bands on the wire for identification.

Cut off terminals from removed wires and tape back to harness as shown in figure 1.

15.

Plug C2054 into amplifier and wire tie into position.

16.

Tighten all previously installed wire ties at this time.

17.

Reinstall radio, kick panel, and dashboard closure panel. Reconnect negative battery lead.

18.

Code the radio and test radio operation. Make sure the balance and fader controls operate each channel properly.
