The interior and exterior front door handles may operate intermittently on some Discovery models the result of incorrectly adjusted link rods To correct
this condition, the link rod need to be adjusted to the proper operating length.

ACTION REQUIRED

If either the interior or exterior front door handle does not open the door, adjust the link rod as described in the following procedure.

Door Handle Linkage Adjustment

1.

Refer to the Workshop Manual, Section 76 and remove the door panel.

2.

Pull back the water curtain to expose the exterior handle assembly.

Perform the adjustmerts in sections A and B below:
