The retaining clips for the drivers seat side cover may not hold the cover tightly, and as a result the cover and clips may rattle. Installation of new clips or
turn buckles correctly hold the cover and prevent the rattle from occurring.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint of the seat side trim rattling, install the new turn buckles by following the procedure below.

PARTS INFORMATION

AFU 3609L - Turnbuckle - 2 required.

AFU 7598L - Plastic Washer - 2 required.

Loctite 495 adhesive

PROCEDURE

1)

Remove trim cover.

2)

Remove original turnbuckles from seat frame and discard.

3)

Remove washers from trim panel and discard.

4)

Apply Loctite adhesive to washers AFU 7598L.

From the inside face of the panel locate the washer in the trim panel holes.

5)

From the outside face of the panel fit turnbuckles AFU 3609L through holes and snap into washers.

6)

Refit trim panel and lock in place by twisting turnbuckle.
