Remove battery.
3.
Using side cutters, remove the two retaining clips holding the printed circuit board in place (figure 1).

Carefully withdraw the printed circuit board.
NOTE:
Take care not to touch the printed circuit board. Doing so may damage it.
Installation
1.
Place button assembly into new upper case half, making sure to fully engage buttons into case opening (figures 2 and 3).
2.
Place printed circuit board into new upper case half, snapping board into two retaining fingers fully (figure 3).
3.
Reinstall battery.
4.
On the new label provided, write the date/week code printed on the label inside the original lower case half.
5.
Place the new label inside the new lower case half.
6.
Install new lower case half and snap together.
7.
Test remote for operation. If not functional, perform up to 8 presses of the "unlock" button to resynchronize.
8.
If still not functional, use TestBook to relearn all remotes.
