Header Junction Connector Replacement

SITUATION:

HEADER JUNCTION CORROSION OR PHYSICAL DAMAGE

Wiring harness repairs at Discovery vehicle header junctions connectors are now possible with the introduction of header junction replacement kits. The
kits contain the connector housing and wire end pin terminals.

RESOLUTION:

REPLACE HEADER JUNCTIONS USING NEW KITS

In the event of corrosion damage or other physical degradation of the header junction, use of a correctly color-coded kit may permit effective repairs.

Repairs to damaged Header Junction connectors near the HVAC intake should be made in conjunction with the water leak repairs outlined in TIB
80/01/97/NAS.

Ensure that the new replacement header junction is the same color as the old one being replaced.
