Remove the clevis pin. (Figure 1)

3.

Release the cable adjuster from the abutment bracket.

4.

Release the cable from the retaining clips.

5.

Remove the driver's side fascia closing panel.

6.

Refer to WSM for the vehicle under repair and perform the following:

Remove the lower closing panel. (Figure 2)

Access throttle cable and release from the accelerator pedal. (Figure 3)

^

Remove cable grommet from bulkhead. (Figure 3)

7.

Remove throttle cable assembly from vehicle.
