Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable: Service and Repair
Remove and Refit Rotary Coupler

CAUTION: Ensure wheels are straight ahead before removal and refitting. Store in plastic bag. DO NOT rotate mechanism while removed.

REMOVE

1. Remove driver's air bag module. See: Air Bag/Service and Repair
2. Remove steering wheel. See: Remove and Refit Steering Wheel
3. Release lever and lower steering column.

Under Dash Panel

4. Release 2 turnbuckles and remove lower dash panel.

5. Remove 3 screws securing lower half of steering column switch cover.
6. Separate the 2 halves of the switch cover and remove from steering column.
