DETAIL

The front seat belt stalk may create a rattle against the side of the center console. This rattle can normally be heard when the front passenger seat is
vacant.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint of the front seat belt stalk rattling against the center console, follow the procedure below.

PARTS INFORMATION

MXC5713 - Foam Pad

PROCEDURE 

1)

Loosen center console anchor screws in the cubby box.

2)

Remove backing from the foam pad.

3)

Carefully pull the forward edges of the rear of the console outwards and insert the foam pad between the console and the rear heater duct.

4)

Insure foam pad is in line with seat belt stalk.

5)

Fit pad with adhesive side to heater duct.

6)

Retighten console screws.
