Refer to Figure 1 and drain PAS reservoir and return hose as follows:

Position a tin can or other suitably sized container between the steering box and the frame rail.

Loosen the return hose steering box connector nut.
^
Move hose quickly to collection container and drain hose and reservoir completely.

Absorb any spilled fluid with a rag, taking care not to contaminate the steering box.

Loosen clamp and disconnect reservoir end of hose.
4.
Install new hose/pipe into steering box and torque to 20 Nm (15 lbf. ft.).
5.
Slide clamp onto hose and connect hose to PAS reservoir. (Figure 2)
6.
Secure hose with clamp and torque to 3 Nm (27 lbf. in.).
7.
Top up PAS reservoir.
8.
Cycle the steering and verify fluid level is correct.
