Subject: AVAILABILITY OF EXCHANGE POWER STEERING BOXES

Remanufactured power steering boxes for all years of Land Rover Classic, Discovery and Defender-90 production are now available. The power steering
boxes are available under part number STC8684E ($361.20 dealer net + core, see below). FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS, PART NUMBER STC8684E
CAN ONLY BE UTILIZED IN THE THIRD OR LAST YEAR OF WARRANTY COVERAGE. For repairs earlier than the third year, use part number
STC2845.

Both the remanufactured units (part number STC8684E) and new steering boxes (part number STC2845) will carry an additional $250.00 core charge.
Prior to returning a steering box core, please ensure that the box is clean, all fluids drained and the transportation blanking plugs are reinstalled. Core
units must be returned in their original package. Noncompliance to these guidelines can result in partial or complete debit of your core and/or part
handling allowances.

All steering boxes utilized in the performance of a warranty repair will be returned via the warranty parts return process. when returning all other
remanufactured steering boxes, please complete a pink core return tag supplied by Land Rover North America to insure proper credit. All steering boxes,
warranty and non-warranty, should be returned to the Warranty Return Center, Land Rover North America, 4390 Parliament Place, Lanham, MD 20706.
