Measure and record the height of each wheel arch from the center of the wheel, using a meter stick (Figure 1).

5.

Determine the height difference between each side of the vehicle. The allowable specification for this difference is a value of 12 mm (0.5 in.).

If the vehicle fails to meet specification, place the vehicle on a lift and verify that each road spring is:

Properly seated

Correctly identified by color (Refer to Workshop Manual, Section 4, for "Road Spring Data.")

7.

Inspect for any damaged suspension components or accident related body damage.

8.

Disconnect the front and rear anti-sway bars at the chassis.

9.

Lower the vehicle and measure each corner again.

10.

If the height difference for either axle has not changed significantly, use the information below for correction purposes.

CAUTION:

Some vehicles may be fitted with ANR4352 Orange/Orange rear road springs.
DO NOT MIX ANR4352 Orange/Orange with ANY other spring on the rear axle.

NOTE:

For all cases not specified in the table, contact the Technical HelpLine for assistance.

If the vehicle is equipped with ANR 4352 Orange/Orange rear springs, replace both rear springs as specified in the table.

12.

If the vehicle is equipped with ANR 3477 Brown/Green rear springs, replace the right rear spring as specified in the table.
