Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheels.
2. Support front axle weight with suitable jack.
3. Remove shock absorber lower fixing, then the cup washer, rubber bushing and seating washer.
4. Remove shock absorber bracket nuts and washers, then the shock absorber and bracket as an assembly.
5. Remove lower seating washer, rubber bushing and cup washer.
6. Remove shock absorber to mounting bracket nut, then the mounting bracket.
7. Remove top seating washer, rubber bushing and cup washer.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
