Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Service and Repair
Rear Spring

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheels.
2. Support rear axle weight with suitable jack, then disconnect shock absorbers at one end.
3. Position suitable coil spring compressor on spring and compress spring evenly.
4. Lower axle to free spring from upper seat. Do not lower axle further than rear brake flexible hose will allow.
5. Remove spring retainer plate, then the road spring and spring isolator.
6. Remove spring seat.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
