If the pinion is a revised design, perform the following during assembly:

When WSM calls for the installation of pinion nut, locate the washer (FTC5413) and thread the 12 mm bolt (FS112301P) into pinion shaft.

Torque the bolt to 90 Nm (65 lbf.ft.).
