There have been some reports of transfer gearboxes which have been unable to shift out of gear. This is due to the transfer gearbox shift lever bolt
coming loose. A new procedure has been specified to fix this problem. Use the following procedure to replace the bolt.

The diagnostic steps and repair procedures detailed in this bulletin were developed as an element of the Land Rover Way OPERATION PRIDE. This

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint for the symptoms outlined, perform the specified repairs.

Obtain the radio code and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
