Remove the transfer gear lever knob and boot (figure 1).

Remove the cigarette lighter.

4.

Lift the automatic transmission gear selector bezel from front and remove.

5.

Remove rubber mat.

6.

Remove the switch panel trim.

7.

Remove four screws securing switch panel.

8.

Pull switch panel out to access switch multiplugs and disconnect multiplugs (figure 2).

9.

Remove switch panel assembly.

10.

Open center console lid and remove screws holding console (figure 3).

11.

Release the 2 clips holding the front of the console to bracket.

12.

Remove the hand brake boot from console.
