Remove Intake Manifold

REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD (VEHICLES WITH SAI)

1.

Remove the battery cover.

2.

Disconnect the battery ground lead.

3.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the mass air-flow (MAF) sensor.

4.

Release the clip on the intake hose and release the wiring harness. (Figure 1)

5.

Release and disconnect the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) hose. (Figure 1)

6.

Loosen the clip securing the air intake hose to the throttle body. (Figure 1)

7.

Release the two clips securing the MAF sensor. (Figure 1)

8.

Release and remove the air intake hose.

9.

Disconnect the vacuum hose from the air valve.
