Loosen the clip securing the air valve hose to the air valve (Figure 2)

11.

Remove the two nuts securing the air manifold support bracket to the upper intake manifold. (Figure 2)

12.

Disconnect the two air manifold unions from the adapters in cylinder head. (Figure 2)

13.

Remove the left-hand air manifold.

14.

Position a container to collect any coolant spillage.

15.

Remove the bolts securing the coolant inlet tube to the intake manifold.

16.

Remove the bolt securing the coolant outlet tube to the cylinder block. (Figure 3)

17.

Release the coolant inlet tube from the intake manifold and discard the O-ring.

18.

Disconnect the purge control valve hose from the intake manifold.

19.

Release the purge valve from the retaining clips and the air control valve from the bracket and position aside.
