LR2 (LF) L6-3.2L (2008)
An Allen wrench is required to prevent the stabilizer bar link from rotating while removing or installing the stabilizer bar nut.
3.
Replace each stabilizer bar nut as follows:

Remove and discard the nut securing the stabilizer bar to the stabilizer bar link. (Figure 1)
NOTE:
If inspection of the stabilizer bar link threads reveals damage, a new stabilizer bar link is to be installed and claimed separately.

Inspect the stabilizer bar link threads for damage.
^
If threads are damaged, install a new stabilizer bar link and claim separately.
^
Clean off any paint that is loose or flaky on the stabilizer bar spade end.

NOTE:
Workshop Manual torque value for the bar link nuts has been updated by this procedure.
^
Install the new stabilizer bar nut to the stabilizer bar link and tighten to the new specification torque value of 70 Nm (52 lbf ft).
4.
Perform step 3 on the alternate side of the vehicle.
5.
Refer to GTR and install front wheels and tires.
