Insert the key into slot, and verify that it is latched in the slot. (Figure 1)

Apply the brake pedal and pressing the 'Start/Stop' engine button to start the engine. (Figure 2)

4.

Tune the radio to a strong FM station (preferably talk radio).

5.

Press the button for the tailgate window glass heater. (Figure 3)

6.

Listen for radio interference.

7.

If there is no radio interference, perform the following:

Open the tailgate by pressing the button on the tailgate handle.
