Shock Absorber and Spring Assembly (64.30.11/99)
Removal
1 .
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the
vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2 .
Remove the wheel and tire.
3 .
Loosen the 3 spring and shock absorber retaining nuts.
4 .
Disconnect the shock absorber and spring assembly from the lower arm.
Using a jack and a suitable block of wood, support the base of the shock absorber.
Remove the nut and bolt.
5 .
Remove the shock absorber and spring assembly retaining nuts.
