Vehicles with dynamic suspension

Install the dynamic response line supports.
Tighten the supports to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).

Connect the tie-rod end ball joints.
Install new nuts and tighten to 70 Nm (52 lb.ft).
2 .
Connect the universal joint to the steering gear.
Install new patchlock bolt and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb.ft).
3 .
Install the engine oil filter.
Lubricate the oil filter seal with clean engine oil and tighten to 18 Nm (13 lb.ft).
Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
4 .
Install the radiator access panel.
Install the 4 bolts and tighten to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
5 .
Install the front LH splash shield.
6 .
Install the front RH splash shield.
7 .
Install the front wheels and tires.
8 .
Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to
Specifications
(Section 414-00)
9 .
Fill and bleed the power steering system. For additional information, refer to
Power Steering System
Filling and Bleeding
(Section 211-00)
10 .
Check and top-up the engine oil.
11 .
Adjust the front wheel alignment.
