Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to
Specifications
(Section 414-
00)

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the
vehicle on safety stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
3 .
Remove the oil filter.
Position a container to collect the fluid.

NOTE :
Note the fitted position of the oil cooler assembly.
Remove the oil filter adapter.
Release the cooler from the oil filter head.
5 .
Clamp, then disconnect the coolant hoses from the oil cooler.

Remove the oil cooler.
