Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to
Specifications

00)
2 .
Remove the timing drive components. For additional information, refer to
Timing Drive Components
(12.65.13)
(Section 303-01)
3 .
Remove the sump pan. For additional information, refer to
Oil Pan (12.60.44)
(Section 303-01)
4 .
Remove the oil strainer pick up assembly.
Remove the 3 bolts.
Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
5 .
Remove the oil pump assembly.
Remove the 4 bolts.
Remove and discard the gasket.
Clean the component mating faces.
1 .
Install the oil pump assembly.
Install the new gasket.
Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
