Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to

2 .
Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to
Engine Cover - 2.7L Diesel (12.30.50)
(Section 501-05)
3 .
Disconnect the three electrical connectors.
Release the fuel return line valve.
4 .
Remove the intake air shutoff throttle elbow retaining bolt.
5 .
Release the intake air shutoff throttle elbow.
Remove the intake air shutoff throttle retaining stud.
