Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to

Coupling unit - viscous fan -renew For additional information, refer to
Cooling Fan (26.25.19)
(Section 303-03)
3 .
Remove the cooling fan drive belt.
Using a 1/2 inch square drive bar, rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
