Cooling Fan Belt Tensioner (26.25.02)  

Removal  

 

 

 

 

Installation

1 . 

  

Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to 

Specifications

 (Section 414-

00) 

2 . 

  

Remove the viscous fan drive belt. For additional information, refer to 

Cooling Fan Belt (26.25.01)

 

(Section 303-05) 

3 . 

  Remove the viscous fan drive belt tensioner.

  

Remove the bolt. 

4 .    

NOTE :

  Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only. 

  Remove the drive belt pulley. 

  

Remove the bolt. 

1 . 

  To install, reverse the removal procedure. 

  

Tighten the pulley bolt to 25 Nm (18 lb.ft). 

  

Tighten the tensioner bolt to 40 Nm (30 Ib.ft).

2 . 

  

Install the viscous fan drive belt. For additional information, refer to 

Cooling Fan Belt (26.25.01)
